About Me

Stephanie Duran began her very interesting life in the government suburbs of Washington D.C.  As a young girl, she found her strength in art and discipline, training for years as a nationally-known competitive figure skater and eventually training at Indiana University to become a world-touring musical theatre actress. 

From these roots, she has grounded her life in focus and commitment. 

She came to Santa Fe, New Mexico from New York City in 1995, left to do another national Broadway tour and could not get Santa Fe out of her mind or soul.  She returned to Santa Fe in 1996, married a native Santa Fean, Greg, and has never looked back.  Now with 2 beautiful boys, Noah, 7 and Adam, 4, her life has never been more rewarding.  She is an active member of Noah’s PTA and coaches soccer every year. 

She has been in real estate for the past 5 ½ years and has found a home at Barker Realty.  Stephanie treats her real estate business with the same passion and focus that she nurtured as a child.  Commitment.  All of her clients agree that she is the most focused and uncompromising realtor/friend that they have ever met.  She is truly interested and concerned about the welfare of her clients.

Like her childhood 5am figure skating sessions, she wakes every morning and searches for new listings for her clients.  If her client’s future home has just come on the market, they will know by 6:30 am.  Focused and committed.

As for her listings, only professional photographers are on the scene and only the highest marketing expectations are expected.  If her listings aren’t having a high volume of showings, she doesn’t do “mailouts”.  She walks her marketing from brokerage to brokerage, door to door.  If you list with Stephanie, your home will not be forgotten.  She only does 3-month listings because she wants to push herself.  A Seller listing with Stephanie never has to worry if his/her property is being pushed.  It is innate in Stephanie’s character to push.

All in all, Stephanie has heart.  She truly cares.  In 2006, she sold over $16 Million worth of property.    She is focused, committed and ready to help her clients in any way that she can.
